Nha Trang Beach
Derived form the Cham word 'yakram' meaning bamboo river, the town
of Nha Trang has a long history. This part of the country was once
inhabited by the Cham, a people whose bleives and culture was heavily
influenced by Hinduism.
One of the most impressive Cham temples can be seen just outside
Nha Trang at Po Nagar, built between the 7th and 12th centuries.
Now though Nha Trang'sfame is linked to its beach and offshore
islands and is justifiably seen as Vietnam's premier beach resort.
With its long stretch of white sandy beach and blear blue waters
it's a favorite among Vietnamese people aswell
