5 Days Saigon and vicinity

Saigon - Mekong delta - Cu Chi tunnel

Start package with sightseeing tour in Saigon and enjoy a trishaw tour visit China Town including the colorful whole sales Binh Tay market. Then take two hours driving to My Tho (Mekong Delta), take a sampan cruising along the tributaries of the Mekong River for a close-up view of local life. Wander through Thoi Son Island and orchards where you can taste some of a huge variety of tropical fruits. Continue to the Cu Chi Tunnels - an amazing network of tunnels which stretched for over 250 kilometers, give the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American war was like.

	DAY 1:	SAIGON ARRIVAL (- / - / -)
		Greet at airport & transfer to hotel. Free at leisure.

	DAY 2:	SAIGON (BREAKFAST / - / -)
		Breakfast at hotel.
		Morning: transfer to the main section of the old city, we will make a short stop to go into the old classic Post office as well as take a look at the Catholic Church called Notre Dame De Paris, visit to the former Presidential Palace, the War crimes museum where American Tanks, infantry weapons, photographs of war are on display. Lunch at local restaurant.
		Afternoon: visit one of typical Chinese pagoda - Thien Hau pagoda. Enjoy a trishaw tour visit China Town including the colorful whole sales Binh Tay market to absorb its sights and sounds. Shopping at Tay Son lacqueware workshop. Accom. at hotel in Saigon.

	DAY 3:	SAIGON - MY THO (MEKONG DELTA) - SAIGON (BREAKFAST / - / -)
		Breakfast at hotel.
		Transfer to My Tho, about two hours driving south west of Ho Chi Minh city. Its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City has made My Tho the most popular destination for day-trippers to the delta looking for a taste of authentic delta life. Upon arrival, visitors will take a sampan cruising along the tributaries of the Mekong River for a close-up view of local life. Wander through Thoi Son Island and orchards where you can taste some of a huge variety of tropical fruits. Watch people cultivating their gardens, see the production of honey liquor and production of noodles. You will also visit the old Vinh Trang Pagoda before being transfered back to Saigon.
		Rest of the day is free at leisure. Accom at hotel in Saigon.

	DAY 4:	HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST / - / -)
		Breakfast at hotel.
		Morning: trannsfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels - an amazing network of tunnels which stretched for over 250 kilometers, were three levels deep, give the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American war was like. Return to Saigon at noon time.
		Afternoon: free at leisure. Accom. at hotel in Saigon.

	DAY 5:	HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST / - / -)
		Breakfast at hotel.
		Free at leisure till transfer to the airport for departure flight.
