Hanoi - Sa Pa - Hoa Lu ancient capital
Northern Vietnam Unique hilltribe trek, visit Hoa Lu, visit temples
of Dinh King and Le King which are built on the site of Vietnam's
capital citadel in 10th century. Walking to the surrounding village,
meet people and see their rural daily life. Then explore the famous
Sa Pa by Climbing Ham Rong mountain where you can view the whole
spectacular panorama of the town. Continue to visit a village of
H'mong lying on the bank of Cat Cat stream. You will have chance
to observe the "love fair" of local ethnic groups (taking
place every weekend).

DAY 1: |
HANOI ARRIVAL

Greet at airport and transfer to Hanoi, capital
of Vietnam, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks.
This green and peaceful city with French style buildings is
less traffic than other cities in Asia. Check in hotel. |

Welcome dinner at a typical Vietnamese
restaurant in the city followed by show of Water Puppet, a traditional
and unique art of Vietnam.

DAY 2: |
HANOI - HOA LU - HANOI

Drive southwards 110 km to Ninh Binh
province. First, you will visit Tam Coc (three caves) which
all adorned with beautiful stalacties and stalagmites. The way
to see Tam Coc is by row boat
along the peaceful and spectacular scenery which is famous as
the so-called "Dry - Halong bay": the huge limestone
rocks as Ha Long bay but rising from the fields with winding
stream instead of the sea. |

Lunch then at a local restaurant |

After lunch, continue several km more
to Hoa Lu, visit temples of Dinh King and Le King which are
built on the site of Vietnam's capital citadel in 10th century.
Walking to the surrounding village, meet people and see their
rural daily life.
Return to Hanoi in late afternoon. Dinner at a nice restaurant
in the city. |

After dinner, transfer to Hanoi Railway
station for overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train. |

DAY 3: |
LAO CAI - SA PA
(BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER) |

Arrive Lao Cai station early in the morning. Have
a light breakfast in Lao Cai town before transfering to Sa Pa.

Upon arrival, check in hotel in. After
lunch, start to explore the famous Sa Pa by Climbing Ham Rong
mountain where you can view the whole spectacular panorama of
the town. |

Continue to visit a village of H'mong

SA PA - LAO CAI - HANOI

Drive to Lao Chai, visit a historical
site where the ancient stones engraved with old characters still
remain. Continue to hike to Ta Van village, see Zay minority
group at their daily work. Return to Sa Pa along the trail with
scenic view. |

Late afternoon: leave Sa Pa for Lao
Cai, take night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on Train. |

DAY 5: |
HANOI (BREAKFAST

Arrive Hanoi early in the morning. Transfer to
hotel to relaxe and breakfast.
You will have free time this morning to relax and unwind at
hotel after a long journey. |

In the afternoon, our guide take you
out to enjoy your city tour: The Ethnology Museum, the unique
museum to recreate successfully the daily life activities, the
religious ritual, the symbolized festivals of each ethnic group
in Vietnam; continue to visit the Temple
of Literature - the first University of Vietnam during 11th
- 18th century. You may like to take a photograph at Ba
Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh declared the independence
of the Vietnam Democratic Republic in 1945, or Opera House (since
1901) and Saint Joseph
Cathedral (since 1886), the two typical French style architectures.
